NIOS acting as a catalyst for students who prepare for competitive exams

There is a free advice for the students who have just passed their secondary level of education to take up NIOS board for their senior secondary level of education as it increases their chances of qualifying for competitive exams increase drastically. The practical aspect of this suggestion is that if a student attends regular classes for class XI and joins a coaching for competitive exams as well then after getting back from school his energy will be totally exhausted and he won’t be able to grasp the knowledge of the subject properly at the coaching as the student would be low on energy level. The student following this hectic schedule won’t be able to cope with the studies at school as well as competitive exam level and his condition would be like a man riding on two boats at the same time. The situation will get worse when the board pressure starts building up and then the student’s starts to panic and gets in two minds that whether he should give priority to board exams or the competitive exams which are generally scheduled shortly after the board exams. NIOS is now proving to be the best option for the students who wish to prepare for competitive exams just after completing their secondary level as it provides two years to get prepared for the competitive exams.
The NIOS board is an open schooling board which means the student does not have to attend regular classes which makes it easier to concentrate on the preparation of competitive exam. NIOS study material is prepared by NCERT to match the quality of other recognized board. NIOS board lets the student to manage his/her time according to their will for preparation of board exam and competitive exams. The proper time management is the key to clear any exam. NIOS reduces that anxiety and work pressure of the student which is caused due to attending regular classes and then attend coaching classes for competitive exams.

The NIOS board never want its students to feel the burden of studies so it has come up with a unique idea that the student can appear to a maximum of 4 subjects of his choice for board exam in his class XI if he feels prepared for the subjects and can appear for the remaining subjects next year at senior secondary level. The certificate will only be issues when the student completes his senior secondary exams by passing in the minimum required subjects to get a pass certificate

There are many cases in which a student clears his competitive exams but fails to pass in board exams such students can take of a program by the name of ODE (On Demand Examination).ODE lets the failed student pass in his/her board examination within 45 days of enrollment. The student can also get his credit transferred from the previous board in which he/she scored well and does not want to reappear in it by taking advantage of a program especially for board failed students by the name of TOC (transfer of credit).
